 Production Diary

How Long the process last?

It has lasted around two weeks, the original plan was to have a bit more footage and time but due to a holiday that was out of my plan i only managed to get 2 weeks worth of raw footage done with a camera.

The Setup and crew

As a director it is my job to make sure everything is in order, from the lighting, the camera setup and overall, keeping everything on track.

Skills that was gained during the process
The following skills that is done is Teamwork as I was working with a group of students and communication since I was also interviewing them and explaining to them if the footage is good or not, in addition there was some technical skill involved as we all had to manage the equipment
such as the camera, lighting and Mic Etc.

Problems that we've encountered during filming and how we solved them

We had have issues with the equipment like the tripod when the legs are uneven and faulty or the camera when it constantly turns itself off or when it runs out of battery halfway through, we also had an issue with saving our work in our SD card so we had to re-film all over again.

Despite everything we have managed to re shoot our footage and we saved our work, although we had complications with the performance of the college computers as they were running slow when we were uploading our work and saving it to desktop etc.

Once we're done we can now edit our footage in the computer software, premiere pro.
