Pitching ideas/Rationale
My Plan for my documentary is to create one inspired by a series called toys that made us, it is a documentary based on toys and other collectibles such as merch, figures and such etc. The Series is called 'The Toys that made us' it is a series that is aired on Netflix and it has made 3 Seasons since 2017 and has released it's final episode on 2019.
What it's about is that it often shows you a wide range of popular toys and merchandise such as Transformers or Ninja turtles and who or what is the company that produced these products etc.
Since watching it, I have gained ideas for what I intend to make when creating my own documentary, in the one I plan to create I intend to show some collectables and show how they have evolved in different generations, this documentary I plan to break down some history and backstory on how and why these products existed and how it creates an impact on current and future generations and explain why I enjoy collecting these products.
I have created a PowerPoint of a Rationale/pitching idea about the culture of the digital age, this showcase is heavily inspired by pop culture and it is something I would like to talk about and share to an audience.
